Using inertia

You must be at least 13 years old and meet Discord's minimum age where you live. If you are a minor, you may use inertia only with the consent of a parent or guardian. Because inertia operates on Discord, you must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using it. If you add or configure inertia for a server, you represent that you are authorized to act for that community.

Fair use

inertia provides moderation and management tooling, and you agree to use it in good faith. You must not:

• use it to harass, raid, dox, surveil, or otherwise target individuals or communities;
• attack, overload, probe, or attempt to compromise the bot, the website, or the infrastructure behind them;
• exploit bugs or vulnerabilities rather than reporting them to us promptly;
• copy, resell, or redistribute the bot or its functionality, or scrape our services;
• evade enforcement, or operate inertia in a server it has been removed from for violations;
• use inertia for any unlawful purpose.

Premium and payments

inertia Premium is an optional paid upgrade, available as a monthly subscription of €2.99 or a one-time lifetime purchase of €11.49. The subscription renews automatically each month, and by subscribing you authorize the renewal charge until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. Premium is linked to the Discord account you are logged in with at checkout.

You may cancel at any time, and your perks remain active until the end of the period you have paid for. Lifetime access lasts for as long as inertia operates. Prices may change, but never during a period you have already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of the settings and content you provide to inertia. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, and process that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the features you use; what we store and for how long is set out in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content and configuration you provide, and for having the right to provide it.

Enforcement

If you breach these terms or put inertia or its users at risk, we may restrict or terminate your access, blacklist your account or your server, remove configurations, and report serious conduct to Discord or the relevant authorities, with or without prior notice. Enforcement applies regardless of any active Premium subscription or lifetime purchase, and access removed for a breach is not refunded. If you believe an action taken against you was a mistake, you may appeal in our support server. A decision not to act on a breach is not a waiver of our right to act on it later. You may stop using inertia at any time by removing the bot from your server.

Availability

inertia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the service fast and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; maintenance, updates, and Discord outages may affect it. We may add, change, suspend, or retire features at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to inertia is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or €50. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of inertia or your breach of these terms. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and mandatory consumer protections where you live are unaffected.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or in our Discord support server, and continued use of inertia after a change takes effect means you accept it. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which inertia is operated, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live, and you agree to contact us to try to resolve any dispute informally before bringing a formal claim.
